This they sent me a wrong product. It’s been 2 weeks and there are no signs of grass!. I’ve noticed that there were no seeds in the mix as described on their product but it was too late as I removed the product from the bag and started laying. The bag just says lawnmix topsoil instead of a fill and fix lawn patch repair. Feels like I wasted a lot of time and money selecting Dandy’s . I haven’t contacted the support yet but will update the review if someone reaches out to fix this for me. The worst thing is I had to pay for shipping that almost costed me value of the product itself. Not a happy customer. Update: Dandy’s did contact me after the review and corrected their mistake. Thanks to Jordon. They weren’t happy that this happened in the first place. Jordon understood what this mistake costed me in terms of time and acted accordingly. He shipped extra product to help me with my garden work at no cost. Jordon kept in touch through out the process which was assuring. Selling a product and customer service are two different things. Very few companies are good at customer service and after this incident, I would recommend Dandy’s.

Ordered a ton of beach sand for our sandpit, described on the website as “exactly what you'd find on a lovely clean British beach!” I’m not sure what the beaches are like around them, but the sand definitely doesn’t look like this where we live!!! The sand from Dandy’s is full of what looks like oil, it’s generally filthy (see the state of the kids’ feet) and there are so many stones and bits of goodness knows what - big and small! We gave Dandy’s ample opportunity to rectify the situation but they now aren’t replying. As well as false advertising, I’d say this is a health and safety concern, and wouldn’t recommend buying sand from them.

Ordered for March delivery. Heard nothing. On finally getting through by phone, email having not been responded to, after first member of staff hung up when background noise started and then nobody would answer the phone, I was told that it was up to me to contact them to arrange delivery. Since that was nowhere on the paperwork I had been waiting for them to notify me of a delivery date. Delivery being scheduled for March it was only in the last week that I chased. I would never trust this company again.

Big fan of Dandys over the years and very convenient being just round the corner. However, on my recent trip into yourselfs I was gobsmacked to see you had raised the price of your collected and tipped Golden gravel from £92.85 to £126.84 in just 7 days !! I had already took on a job so this will be a big hit to my profits. I needed the same blend, so I had no choice but to go ahead. The gentleman serving explained that the cost you buy it in at, had changed. I cannot believe that one of your suppliers has raised your gravel price by over £33 per tonne in seven days. The next issue was that you only had it bagged up in "approx tonne bags" according to your website. The first bag weighed 860kg, falling way short of what I was expecting. The lads in the yard made right on my second collection and gave me the difference. Although that product is more expensive, than bnq, wicks, Chesire garden products, Beesleys, Travis perkins I will say that your product is of a slightly better colour than others I have had before. On the whole pretty disappointing but these price hikes seem to be the norm in the UK at the moment.

Excellent service from start to finish. Communication superb. Driver was fabulous, negotiated a very tight site to drop the soil exactly where we wanted it. Highly recommended.
